Dear Monrovia Unified Families, Staff, and Community Members,
We want to acknowledge the ongoing fire alarm issues at Wild Rose School of Creative Arts and assure our families that we are actively addressing the situation. The high winds and resulting power outages last week caused significant disruptions, including power surges that have impacted the school’s fire alarm system.
We’ve had technicians on campus twice in the last 24 hours to work on repairs, and we will continue to collaborate with USA Alarm to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. However, some challenges are tied to the power fluctuations, which are beyond our immediate control.
The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and patience as we work through these complications. We will keep you updated on our progress and any further developments.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Dr. Paula Hart Rodas
Superintendent
Monrovia Unified School District
